I spend a fair amount of time in the kitchen, be it at the restaurant as well as at home. Besides the general home cooking, which I always do, I also enjoy bottling and preserving.

One of my more creative products is the best olive you will ever taste. These take approximately six weeks to prepare and are a very labour intensive to get ready, as each olive needs to be sliced from north to south with a blade so as to extract their bitterness.

I also make great Limoncello liquor…. All made with natural products, be it lime, lemons and oranges with no preservatives added.

My kumquats in syrup and brandy are best served with cheese and biscuits as an after dinner thought or with drinks.

My almond and chocolate biscotti are certainly worth trying with coffee and if those don't appeal to you there are the plain almond wafer type.

Jams and marmalades can also be found to at Franco's, depending on fruits in season.

I am working on adding to my small selection of 'home industry' products, as I wish to develop this side further.
